In the Moment
Racing the edge of the honey-thick sunrise,
I reach for the horizon as it dissolves to blue.
Inhaling the dewy scent of leaves and clarity,
I step into a new day, focused on the path ahead.
Dragging thirsty brushes across toothy paper,
I see yellow, brilliant and bright, as if for the first time.
Painting the edge of the honey-thick sunrise,
I create the horizon as it dissolves to blue.
Hung from a blonde and gold poplar dowel, In the Moment’s warm gradient pattern is reminiscent of a summer sunset. This wall hanging features Mookaite stones and beads in rosey pinks, yellows, creams, and browns. Mined from the Mooka Creek in Western Australia, mookaite is known to awaken our instincts and connect us with the Earth.
