Commissioned Artwork

How do you celebrate your biggest milestones?

Commissioned artwork is a beautiful way to commemorate a special occasion, give a highly personalized gift, or perfectly match your home décor.

Whether you are looking for a one-of-a-kind watercolor painting or woven wall hanging, I can’t wait to hear more about your commission vision.

  • First, complete the Commission Application above so that we can both get a better idea of what you are looking for. Once I have reviewed your application, I will email you with questions about specifics (style, colors, vibes - you get the idea!). When we both know we are on the same page, I will send you a tailored Commission Agreement so we can make it official!

From there, I will begin working on the commissioned work and send you process photos along the way. When the work is complete, I will send you a photo or a scan (depending on the size and medium of the piece).

If you live in southern Wisconsin, I would be happy to arrange a pick-up or drop-off with you! If not, I will carefully package and ship the work to your preferred address.

Each work includes a certificate of authenticity, care instructions, and a handwritten note.

  • Each commission is one-of-a-kind! The amount of time it takes to complete each work depends on the subject, amount of detail, size, and client-preferred medium. If this is a gift and you have a specific deadline, please specify in the Commission Application above.

  • 50% is due before I begin working on your commission.

50% + shipping (if applicable) is due within 15 days of receiving the work.

*Promo codes and other discounts are not applicable for commissioned works.

  • I want you to love the artwork I create specifically for you!

To ensure we are on the same page, I will communicate with you throughout the creative process by sending lots of photos, updates, and questions as the work progresses. That way, if you would like changes to be made, they can be incorporated before the piece is completed.

  • All images of the artwork, sold or otherwise, are retained by the artist.

You have the right to display, modify, transmit, transfer, and sell the work, but I retain the right to authorship credit and reproduction.

  • I want you to be completely comfortable with the commission process. If your question wasn’t answered here, contact me directly and I’d be happy to answer your questions.
