WISCONSIN ASSOCIATION FOR PERINATAL CARE

Educating and advocating via social media

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care and the organizations under it’s umbrella were thrust into the digital world. They needed to pivot from hosting in-person educational series to connecting with the perinatal community via webinars and social media.

To begin WAPC’s transition to it’s new virtual home, I helped them to:

  • define their brand identity,

  • participate in online awareness campaigns,

  • convert existing resources into social media content,

  • develop a consistent marketing and communications cadence, and

  • eventually undertake a full digital transformation.

Learn more about this transformation from my plenary presentation on strategic storytelling at the 2022 Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) Annual Meeting, starting at the 1:27:00 timestamp.
